NHRDN RATING OF B-SCHOOLS (In association with People Matters)
Accreditation is a voluntary process that includes an external review of a University/College’s/Institution's ability to provide quality education. It is a type of quality assurance process/ hall-mark under which services and operations of educational institutions or programs are evaluated against certain set standards. If prescribed standards are met, accredited status is granted by the Accreditation Agency.
Accreditation is the certification of standards while rating is like the mark-sheet (which includes performance on selected criteria) and over a period of time the Accreditation process will build up on the performance of business schools . Rating is therefore an important first step and hence a precursor towards Accreditation of B-Schools.
The rating will clearly show us the current capabilities and gaps in the participating institutions.
